SkyLink USA Names Mike White as COO

DULLES, Va. – SkyLink USA, a company that specializes in transportation, airport management, disaster relief and aviation support services, appointed Mike White as its new chief operating officer. Former president of Trade Network Consultants, White comes to SkyLink with many years of operational experience in the air transportation industry.

“Mike is a superb executive with outstanding leadership skills, expertise and experience,” said CEO David Henze. “Mike’s breadth of experience and understanding of the air transportation industry will help us grow and manage our core businesses and introduce innovative new services.”

White’s other positions include managing director of cargo services at the Air Transport Association, manager of cargo services Worldwide for United Airlines, vice president of the cargo service center-Chicago, cargo manager for United Airlines in New York-JFK as well as other numerous operational management positions with Frontier and United Airlines. As a member of the Gore Commission on Aviation Safety, White was instrumental in the working group on air cargo that established today’s air cargo known shipper program and interface between government and airlines on air cargo issues after Sept. 11. Additionally, White has been a leading member of the trade representing airlines for the implementation of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) advance cargo requirements, member of The International Air Cargo Association’s Cargo Operations Committee and air cargo subject matter expert to the Customs Operations Advisory Committee. White resides with his family in Purcellville, Va.
